Founded in 2016 by Chef Melanie Kerr, Chauncey’s Catering is a Black woman-owned event planning and catering company based in Baltimore, MD. What began as a fun side venture has evolved into a thriving culinary enterprise, driven by Chef Melanie’s passion for food and dedication to exceptional service. At Chauncey’s, the team celebrates the power of food to connect people and create lasting memories, ensuring that every event becomes a flavorful experience.
Codetta Bake Shop
Codetta Bake Shop aims to be Baltimore’s premier dessert provider for generations to come, blending 15 years of baking experience with high-quality ingredients and boundless creativity. With a constantly evolving menu inspired by culinary trends and customer desires, the team embraces every flavor idea and experimentation. Founded by Sumayyah Bilal, Codetta reflects her dual passions for music and baking, as its name signifies the perfect finishing touch to any meal, just like a stunning dessert.
To make sure everything runs smoothly, we're offering preorders only, and quantities are limited. Just pick the time slot that works best for you, swing by to collect your goodies, and then find the perfect spot on the grass or at one of our cozy picnic tables in our Community Field. Feel free to bring along a blanket, lawn games, or anything else that will make your picnic extra enjoyable. Please note that we are a scent conscious environment, and do not allow smoking or vaping of any kind.
We will offer a great selection of beverages available for purchase on the day of the picnic, including herbal tea, sparkling waters, and fun NA beverages sourced from our friends at Modern World! Additionally, we provide a free water station for your convenience, so bring your reusable bottles and stay hydrated. Please do not bring outside food or drink—these picnics are designed to support our chef partners!

Important to Note:
- Parking is limited, so please limit your stay to 1 to 1.5 hours so that others can enjoy the space
- Please carpool! Bring your friends, and come together
- There is limited shade in the Community Field so bring sunscreen or wear a cute hat!
- Dogs are not permitted at this time
- Our picnic days are kid friendly, but please be respectful of your picnic neighbors
- In case of bad weather, we will not reschedule the event. Instead, we will honor preorders for pick up.
